What to Expect
Sunday Mornings: We have Sunday school for both adults and youth. Our service consists of a few hymns, a few contemporary worship songs, a prayer time, and an expository sermon by our pastor. Sunday nights, Wednesday nights: We meet together for prayer, hymns, and a Biblical exegesis.

Calling all MEN! We are meeting at the church to drink coffee, eat pancakes, and discuss Jesus. Afterwards, we will go trap shooting (address to be determined).
What We Believe
We want everyone to find and drawn near to Christ. Our confession of faith is outlined in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
Meet Our Staff
Steve Betts
Pastor
Steve Betts is our bi-vocational pastor who teaches English during the day and writes sermons at night. He is the husband to his wonderful wife, Lisa, and father of three beautiful children, Kristyn, Dalton, and Meredith. Steve faithfully runs his race, seeking to please our Heavenly Father regardless of the circumstances, being a strong leader at home, church, and school.
Steve felt the call to ministry at the age of 15. He was born in Rolla, lived in Salem until 15, and returned to Rolla the week before his sophomore year of high school where he graduated in 1990. He earned a BS in English from Drury and a Master of Christian Ministry from Mid-South Christian College.
In July of 2002 he accepted the position of Associate Pastor of Youth and Music at Ft. Wyman Baptist and stepped into the position of Pastor in 2007. Sticking with us through thick and thin, he continues to serve at Ft. Wyman alongside his wife and children.
While not pastoring or teaching, you can find Steve spending time with his family, usually somewhere in the woods. He enjoys playing music, cooking, and hiking.
